Beach House Mood Boards

Thanks to Michelle over at Emerald Cove, today I have been introduced to Olioboard. An interactive website that allows you to devise your own mood board. It allows you to play around with your dream scenario in a bedroom, kitchen, living room or bathroom.

I have also learned today, what a 'mood board' is. You know those layouts you see in magazines, when the editor puts together a page of furniture and accessories, that are similar to those in the house they have shot in the story.

This program is easy to use and free. The first mood board, is one I put together between making breakfast and school lunches for the Beach House Brats.  It's kind of a mummy's 'hide away' bedroom that no body, not even Mr Beach House, would be allowed access to.  I would read in here and tap away on my laptop, with absolutely no interruptions.  What bliss!

The mood board below is one that took me an hour to put together.  It is a better result and I think it has that beachy, French, vintage feel that I love.   It is cool, breezy and oh so pretty.

I for one would be very happy in this lovely room. This is really me. The whole family could join me in here for some Beach House Sunday breakfast in bed.  Or some serious bed jumping by the Beach House Brats, while I went through my daily 'throw it together' dressing and make-up routine.  I just love those blue colours.  So much so, I even got married in them.

Well tomorrow perhaps a kitchen or a bathroom for your entertainment.

Yours in styling happiness,

C
