Beach House Home Tour

I wasn't going to post today, but I stumbled upon the House Tour Linky party at Poppies at Play.  Now this girl loves to party, so I had to join in.  It was fun going through all my posts to put a tour of the Beach House  together. Now my humble beach house is just that, a small cottage, but we love living here. So come on in and have a look.  You are very welcome

 My Back Deck

My Media Room, where I write all these posts.  It's still a work in progress, as you can see with unhung art.  But how many times can a girl ask her husband, aka Mr Beach House, to bring the drill home from the Boat Shed?  I'll tell you...... lots!!!!

My kitchen
Most of the entertaining in this house begins around the island bench, which has allowed me to be part of the party from the moment our guests walk through the door.

My Living Room

I am a great lover of the statement piece on display to create interest, both the surf board and the boat, known round these parts as a Balmain Bug, were my dad's toys, when he was a young bronzed Aussie lad back in the 1950's and 60's.  The boat dates to the 30's I think.

My Dining Room

My Master Bedroom

My Front Porch

And the view from here.  A little bit of ocean framed by a Norfolk pine.  Many an evening is spent out here with candles lit and rose in hand, pondering our adventures in and around the Beach House.

Hope to see you here again.  Drop by anytime, my door is always open to friends
Happy days
Best Carolyn

  3. So glad you did decide to post today Carolyn. It's been a real treat to look around your gorgeous beach cottage. (Is that a pot of zygo cactus I can see on the back porch?) Off now to check out the party at Poppies at Play. ;)Sharyne

  4. Hello Carolyn! I love your house. I always adore homes with wooden structures. I love your back deck, perfect for relaxing, reading and chilling out. The Dining Room with a view from the outside is another area to love. The white bed and the white painted room are perfection for me too. I just love using whites in homes which are later on adorned by colored pieces.

  12. Hi, friend! I'm your newest follower :) You've got so much creativity going on in your blog so can
you please share them with us at the Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop?

This is a combination of linky party (where we can show off our
creations) and of blog hop (where we can follow as many excellent
bloggers as we like), hence the name Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop.
It's a great way to meet awesome creative bloggers like you and
increase your followers in the process.

All you have to do is 1) link up whatever creative post you'd like to
share - can be a DIY project, decor, photography, crafts, recipes,
poem, thrift finds, tips, or that informative syndicated post that can
make us laugh, or cry - in short, whatever you're proud of! 2) Then
follow as many blogs as your heart desires, preferably starting first
with the one before you and after you, and leave a comment to them
    that you're doing so.

You’re not required to include the party button but if you’re so inclined
to display it in your blog or your post, you’re very much welcome to
    do so :)
