Beachy White Mantel

No news is good news here at the Beach House.  Just trying to get through Winter as best we can.  The houses are not set up for this season, lots of glass and very little insulation, so it's cold inside and out.  I have redone my mantel to inspire warm thoughts.  Mr Beach House commented that it was 'busy'..  I have to agree with him, but I think it will be like this for a while, cause I really like it.

Just had a coffee with the Beach House Brats at the Boat House at Palm Beach......and a walk along the back beach.  Both the cafe and beach are still beautiful on an overcast day in the middle of Winter, just less people and action around.  The kiddos found a huge shell on our walk and they want me to send it off for carbon dating.....cute!!!!  I doubt that will happen, but instead of playing computer games I suggested they should research it's origins on the net. So I am out of here to make room for them.  Hope your week is full of life.
Oh and one more thing before I go.......This lovely little palm leaf crucifix was given to all the attendees at my son's christening, some years back. He was baptised in a sweet little country church on Palm Sunday. We are returning there soon for another family adventure.  Yippee!!!!

I hope the livin' is easy where you are, just a little warmer than Sydney in the middle of Winter.  Back tomorrow in honour of Bastille Day.  See ya then!!!!

  9. It's so unbelievable freezing in Sydney at the moment it makes a nice change to see something that reminds me of the warmer days of summer. Very pretty arrangements. I'm now pining for summer.
