Newport Home with Shades of Classic American Style

This home has shades of classic American style about it, and with a little bit of Hamptons decorating, you would be forgiven for thinking you were holidaying there. I love the styling anyway, but currently it's more Australian Beach House. The proportions and roof line of the rooms are spectacular.  The Pittwater views are there and with access to the water on title, this is surely a beautiful property.

The first thing I would do if I was ever lucky enough to own this property, would be to cover up all the exposed brick with weatherboard and sandstone.  But that's just me.  The open plan kitchen and living are fabulous and I will definitely looking at this one in the flesh.

Post Script:  I have just visited this magnificent home and she was definitely worth it.......Just gorgeous.

Love the barn style sliding doors here.  They are right on trend.

So what do you think Beach Dwellers?  Lovely isn't she?

For serious property players go here for all her details and do have a splendid weekend.

I am giving away a $100 gift voucher to spend in Kmart Australia here too.

  2. What an absolutely gorgeous home. I adore the interior but I kind of agree with Deanne that the brick is a little too dated for my liking. x

  3. The kitchen is great but I don't like the bathroom and the brickwork screams of 1970's Northern Beaches and should have been rendered when they renovated. Some opportunity for the new owner to make some improvements and put their own stamp on the home xx

  4. Just beautiful...the view of the water alone would sell it for me! I love open floor plans but many of the rooms need to be cozied up...maybe that's just me. The staircase is awesome!
