Stunning Church Conversion into a Beautiful Home

Located just east of Geelong, in the settlement of Curlewis, making it a reasonable commute to Melbourne, this stunning church conversion is definitely worth considering.  With bay views, 4 bedrooms, 3 living areas, a gorgeous kitchen and a huge garage spread across 2 acres, what a wonderful way to spend your days.

The Sydney property market is so tight at the moment, that I have been looking further afield and find myself coveting interesting old buildings,  such a schools and churches converted to other uses, as our change in social history throws up some real beauties.  For more of the details of this once was a church go here.

I hope you enjoyed the tour.

  4. Oh, I love this. We holidayed in Portarlington last summer and drove past this. I wanted to stop and have a look around but we just didn't have time. Meanwhile, a church I'd had my eye on for ages just sold in my hometown - it went to auction two weeks early! Hardly anyone realised and it went for a song. I. Am. SPEWING. I hate that saying, but it's the most appropriate one. Absolutely spewing that we missed out. I've always wanted to live in a converted church!

  5. I've always dreamed of converting a church into a home. What an incredible staircase! So true about the Sydney market - I've never known such low levels of stock. I do hope it changes soon - there's almost nothing to look at! xx

  6. Wow! This place is amazing! There's one church in Sydney's Paddington that's been converted into a beautiful home. The high ceilings are just one of the features that are breath taking.
