Hello Fresh, How to reduce your weekly food spend and a giveaway

Need a little reduction on the weekly food bill?  Who doesn't?  I got one a month ago and it was such a great feeling, that I approached the company who gave it to me, in the hope of sharing my good fortune with you fabulous people, who constantly make my day.

So here's what happened.  Until recently I haven't entered giveaways, but then my gorgeous friend Sonia had a giveaway over on Life love and Hiccups.  Now I have about as much luck, as a lone chip on a football field of seagulls, but anyway I threw my hat in the ring. In the first instance just to support Sonia, but also in the secret, but mostly remote hope of winning a product related to food.  You know how I love to cook.  Well this time, 'the lone chip' survived and I won.  I won a big box full of beautifully fresh produce, with 3 recipes, delivered straight to my door.  I prepared the recipes over three nights.  They were fantastically simple and delicious.  They were healthy and they saved me a bomb on groceries that week. And I didn't have to spend time and effort shopping either.

And Corn Fritters with a Tomato, Avocado and Coriander Salad and they were so dang good.
