I am in the market for some little girls bedroom inspiration and I have certainly found it here in this lovely beach cottage. This bedroom is home to two beautiful little twin girls. Their mummy has gone all out to give them a dreamy place to play and sleep.
All the bed linen, the bunting and this beautiful little tea set in fabric were sourced from The White Company in London. All the linen was purchased online at a sale and worked out to be very affordable landed in Australia.
In fact it was more reasonable than driving to the nearest department store on the Northern Beaches to purchase. I'm not sure if it's because of our countries small population, the fact that we are at the end of the earth or the rental and labour costs associated with retail, but all my English girlfriends...and I have a few of them, (I mean why immigrate to Australia from the UK and not live by the beach) say that everything in Australia is very pricey compared to the UK. The few Americans I know living here, say the same.
Now, I have just checked The White Companies website out here and they are having some great sales as I write. I have just reread that paragraph and it sounds like I am on their payroll. I can assure you I am not, but with that quality at those prices I am happy to give them a shout out.
Apart from the lovely bed linen the twins also have some beautiful toys and pretty well everything comes in double in this bedroom.Lovely bowls of colourful ribbons displayed on open shelving add to the colour and texture to the room.

Beautiful bunting, is also a pretty addition to the room. It looks so beachy against the bead boarding of the high ceilings, lifting your eye up to emphasize the feeling of space.
The girls have their names above their beds. These are padded and were made by their very talented crafter grandmother. I hope to feature her home soon as I believe it is stunning.
I hope you enjoyed viewing this bedroom inspiration as much as I enjoyed photographing it. I will certainly be incorporating it into the Beach House Brats' bedroom makeovers.
Best Carolyn
