I have a very busy day here and I think I've been posting way too much food lately. So instead, I thought you might like to see the kind of house I aspire to. This one is for sale in Bayview, just near here and where Mr Beach House grew up and I love it. I adore these recycled oak beams and the stone fire place. The French doors are fabulous and you can just make out the kind of seaview you would get from this beautiful room.
I also love the Australian colonial style of the home. Gorgeous north facing verandas, over looking the pool and the bay are of course, very me.
All the windows make the house magnificently light.
I would love to style that window seat
Our little yacht club is just at the edge of that beach, so we could walk down on a Sunday morning for a sail.
And this place even has a self contained cottage on title.
If you'd like to know more. Go here
Have a great weekend people!!!!!!

lovely house and view- though I don't go much on the yellow and the master needs some serious restyling!
ReplyDeleteWhat a location. My Aunty and Uncle lived in Bayview for years, it is such a gorgeous spot and the little cottage is completely divine! x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful homes with beautiful views. I really love the first one!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, Carolyn!
XO,
Jane
Ooh, what a gorgeous location, I think I'd be quite happy there! Have a lovely weekend :) xo K
ReplyDeleteCheck out that view .. I actually forgot to breathe for a few seconds there. Absolutely stunning. Id never want to leave home!
ReplyDeleteIm your newest follower Iv been following privately for a while now but I just cant keep away any more :)
The view is just amazing. I would be happy with the cottage only!
ReplyDeleteOk I'm packing already. I'd be quite happy to live in that cottage and be available now and then to babysit your beach house kids. I won't call them brats as you do. I would think I'd died and gone to heaven to live in a cottage with that view. I am such a water nut, it's like I come alive when I see water, otherwise I'm dormant.
ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in MT we lived on a big lake and I was never happier. Wish we could go back there if we can't live in that little cottage. So incredible to even contemplate. Have a good day. Are you done with your cooking thing yet or still have more photos to do?
No the cook book shoot is on going. It was at my house yesterday and I was so busy I forgot to take photos until most of my styling was over. The photos I got were not so good. Everyone loved shooting at the Beach house as I had so many props on hand.
DeleteI'm living with you then.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!! Thanks for linking up at FNF!
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this beauty until now?! The view is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteIf you buy it, can I come and visit you, and stay in the little cottage?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely
DeleteIt's offers over $4m so it really would be a dream come true if I bought it.
Carolyn

ReplyDeleteOh, my, Carolyn, I'd love to be living the good life in this gorgeous home. What a view! I'd be happy in the guest cottage. Let me know when you move in. ;-)
