It took me a while to find her this week, but once I stumbled upon this character filled Newport Beach House, I knew it was love. Exposed wall studs, lime washed floors, quirky angles and upcycled elements everywhere, I knew this was my kind of abode.
Sweet views with inside outside living
Open plan living, kitchen, dining
Simple elegance
I adore the stylish kitchen
If this house takes your fancy you and you have a desire to move to paradise, you can find out her details here

I adore the idea of a wall as a bedhead so you can sneak an office / walk in robe / lady room behind it. Perfect! If I ever build a house, this is what I am going to do, along with a gorgeous fitted laundry with pull out baskets and bench space and all the other things on my dream list.
ReplyDeleteHave to say, not keen on the bed or the linen though - looks very student flat to me!
Yeah I guess it's what ever floats your boat in decorating. Personally, I love that rustic crumpled look.

hello just made the chocolate tart from your previous post. Smells divine, can't wait for the taste test tonight! Thanks. Cheers Veronica
ReplyDeleteOh Veronica that is the best thing I've heard all day. So glad you tried it. I hope it tastes great for you.

Absolutely have the desire, but not the bank balance! Gorgeous home, I love how open it feels.
ReplyDeleteYeah but isn't it fun looking and dreaming?

This is my kind of home and don't worry, my husband has been seeing this on the internet for the last few weeks and it is exactly the sort of home he wants to buy - if only we weren't forced to live where we do for work purposes, we would be their buyer for sure. I just love how they have renovated it. And love the kitchen with those commercial fridges. I believe there's room for a pool too. Don't you just love the master suite! xx
ReplyDeleteYes it's so roomy. I'd love it if you guys moved back up here.

Wow Carolyn, this is beautiful. Love the huge bookcase, bedroom with bifolds out onto that amazing view. A gorgeous property and so beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteI wish I live in a house like this :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Nothing more breathtaking than waking up to a direct view of the ocean!
ReplyDeleteI love that bedroom, specifically how it opens up to the deck. Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh, the openness of this home is fabulous. And that view! Great find, Carolyn.
ReplyDeleteThis a beautiful home for a large, young, busy family. Lots of space and beautiful views.
ReplyDeleteNewport Beach is an AWESOME place...this home would be wonderful to enjoy life in! Thanks for sharing it! ~Zuni
ReplyDeleteOh Wow! I just would love to have this room in the first picture with all the books on the shelves.
ReplyDeleteWow. That's a beach house I could learn to love!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved the idea of doors that can be pushed open to allow no barrier between the inside and outside. Everything in this house is so bright and airy and I do love all of the books - wish I had the time to read them all! Thanks for the tour!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful home!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a part of SEASONAL SUNDAYS.
