Purple Patch

Hi All
Not much time for posting today.  I am madly trying to get Mr Beach House's website up and running for a launch early next week.  We are hoping it will improve the Beach House economy somewhat, so it's a priority.

However, I wanted to let you know three things.  Firstly Mr Beach House's remarks in relation to the Spring Bedroom Makeover....and I quote, "I'm not sleeping in here.  This is a joke!!"  He did though and just quietly,  like a log!!! Read about the makeover here if you haven't already.

The second thing, is that we headed to the city yesterday.  The schools were closed due to a teachers' strike and Mr Beach House took the day off.....As the sailing season starts this weekend, we took the opportunity to have a final family day before regattas take over our lives.  These photos were taken from the cottage of the well known Australian writer of the Snuggle Pot and Cuddle Pie series of books, May Gibb's, at Neutral Bay.  I  particularly liked the purples in her garden.

The third thing is that I have been very remiss in getting back to everyone this week.  Thanks for all your lovely commets and emails and I will endeavour to get back to you, but if I don't, know that I really do appraciate all your kindness.

This shot is from the David Jones spring flowers. More on that later.

Yours in website makeover mayhem.
