A fabulous long weekend here in Sydney for the Queen's birthday. We took in some soccer, some boating, a spot of house hunting and a turn around my mother's lovely Winter garden. The weather was fabulous, we were together as a family and the best bit of all, I have finally convinced Mr Beach House that 6 weeks in France next year is a good idea. If we don't go then, we will not be able to go Europe as a family in the Northern Summer 'til I am 60, due to the kiddo's schooling commitments. One of the pitfalls of having children so far apart. My father was dead by 64 and if I have his cancer genes I may never get there, so we are off. Mr Beach House agreed to go when I found a regatta for him to sail in the south of France. So watch this space. I told you I'd get there, so lets hope this time it happens.
