Blue and White Coastal Living Room

Coastal Living Room in Blue and White

Hello Beach Dwellers

As you know I have had a little break away from this happy place, a kind of sabbatical to make time for living, if you will.  Things got a little crazy and it was time to stop and take store of what is important.  We also had a long standing booking for a few days skiing in Thredbo.  It was all a little 'touch and go' as to whether we could make the holiday, as my son's health has been less than perfect over the last month.

But make it we did, and it was just the thing to get us all over the hump.  Sitting on this chairlift with my son after a big day skiing, I said to him "Take this all in, as it will be one of the happiest moments of your life". It was truly wondrous and an absolute gift from nature.  We had beautiful snow flakes all around us too.  It was just serene.  It is amazing how the beauty of the planet can lift the spirits to such a high place.  I said to him  "If heaven is like this, then I would have no problem in going there."

He assures me he is back in good spirits too.  He says he is 92% better, whatever that means. But 2 weeks ago he said he was at 0%, so I will take 92 any day. Lets just say we have been a very good customer at the local GP these last few weeks, but now we see recovery on the horizon and I am happy to be back at the beach house foofing around with orchids from my mother's Spring garden in a blue and white living room.

And to you lovely people thanks for all your kind wishes.  I very much appreciate them.

See you soon.
