Wanna know why I give thanks every day that my forebears chose to settle in the the Lucky Country ???? Just take a look.
As we count down to Australia Day, our National Day, on 26 January we have been experiencing a bit of what Australia is so famous for this week, beautiful Summer weather on the beaches.
My rock pool rocked this week
An Aussie rite of passage, a boy being a boy
Crystal clear ocean
The light was amazing
the fragrances too
We launched our latest boat
as the tide came in
We cooled off
and played in the sand
We checked out the talent as they checked on us
The baby boombers on parade
The little surfer girls
and the queen of tides
The dogs loved it
We got in
We splashed around and thanked heaven for Aussie girls
and that, my friends, was our week in the water, on the Beaches here in Australia.
Not sure if it's luck or good planning but I'm convinced, that which ever way you slice it, I am living in paradise.
I share lots of these photos on face book and twitpics throughout the week, so if you would like a fix of the ocean join me there.
Thanks for all your lovely comments. Blogger is being naughty again and not allowing me to write comments on blogs that have Word Verification...... so why not turn it off. Here's how. Go to the Settings tab in your dash board. In settings go to the comments tab. Scroll down to "Show Word verification for comments" and click no. This makes it so much easier for people to comment....so watch them grow.
Today I am partying here

Hi Marydon
DeleteThey are a collection of Beaches Avalon Beach, Palm Beach Clareville and Taylors Point. We are spoilt for choice on the planets biggest island that is Australia and 80% of us live on the coast as the red centre is a desert.
