Beach House of the Week at Clareville

Aloha
I haven't posted a Beach House of the Week for a while, but with Spring showing it's beauty  (even though it's still Winter) in Sydney at the moment, it feels like time to get back to the Beach.  The weather here is more like the first month of Summer and we haven't even been skiing yet.  Funnily enough there is a prediction of 40cm of snow down south in Australia tonight.  Crazy weather but I'm loving it.

I watched with interest as this house was built at Clareville several years ago.  Loads of Sydney sandstone, glass and very open plan is what I love.  The Beach is a favourite with mums, as it is on Pittwater with lovely still water and it's quite shady.

Have a great weekend everyone.  This holiday home is available here, if you want to come and stay in paradise for a while.

  2. Hi carolyn,
What a lovely house! Glad to see you're on track for Paris. We have been on Homelink for about 4 years and have had about 20 swaps all over Europe, including Paris. It was the best thing we could have done - we've stayed at some great places for nothing, and met some lovely people. Happy swapping!

  3. I love a dining room that seats 12. I've always wanted a room and a table like that for dinner parties. Lovely home. Perfect for me.

  5. This is house is so stunning and funnily enough we looked at renting it for 6 months when we first moved back from Bowral to see if we liked living up that way, and try out the area. It's such a fabulous beach house, so close to the beach, great open plan living and amazing pool. Our only reservation is that it was a bit like living in a fish bowl with all the houses looking down on you and so much glass. We lost out to another couple so never found out. But ended up buying closer to the city.

  6. Great post! Now I want to hit the beach. It is 105 degrees in TX today and I could use a nice cool ocean. Thank you so much for linking up at Home Savvy!
